
PRINCE IMO UKO IWELA: IKEMBA OF AGBO-OHA KINGDOM
The words of Oswald Sanders quickly resonate on the introduction of Prince Imo Uko Iwela, and I quote. When God wants to drill a man, Thrill a man, and skill a man, When God wants to mould a man to play the noblest part; When he yearns all his heart to create so great and a bold man that all the world shall be amazed, Watch his ways, how he ruthlessly perfects who he royally elects.

Prince Imo Uko Iwela was born on the 31" January, 1962 to Chief James Uko Iwela and Lolo Ikodiya James Uko Iwela of Ndi Eche Compound, Okwoko Nkporo, Agbo-Oha Autonomous Community. His father was popular figure and a Traditional Prime Minister (Opankuma) He had his elementary education at Ndi Agbo Community, School, Okwoko Nkporo from 1975-1980, where he took his First School Leaving Certificate and passed at Credit level Not deterred with situations around him and determined to tackle the future, he proceeded to what he termed "University of Life located at Lagos in 1981. Prince Imo Uko engaged in petty trading. Through the virtues of self-reliance, hard work, discipline, and strict application of these principles, he achieved a phenomenal success in good time. He showed signs of precocity and ingenuity, like most great men. As fortunes smiled on him and he incorporated a trading company known as Iwems and Associate Limited, a successful business venture that has taken him to several African Countries and Overseas. One can rightly say that Prince Imo Uko is a man of humble beginnings. Prince Imo Uko was the Exchequer for the Community between 1996 and 2004. His financial prudence contributed to the massive developmental projects that were witnessed during the period. Some of the projects are: Building of Obieze, Modern Toilets, and illumination of Okwoko Community with street lights. He played a prominent role during the pursuit of the Autonomous status of the Agbo-Oha Community. Prince Imo Uko is an accomplished businessman and a Community leader whose love for his Community is catholic. He is married and the union is blessed with promising children.
