My late father, Chief Kalu Tipper as he was fondly called, was a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on everyone he touched. His unwavering commitment to honesty, discipline, and trustworthiness inspired countless people to emulate his exemplary character.

As a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and community leader, he demonstrated exceptional integrity in all aspects of his life. His honesty was unshakeable, and his word was his bond. He was a man of his word, and his integrity earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Discipline was another hallmark of Chief Kalu Ebei's character. He was a self-made individual who achieved greatness through hard work, perseverance, and determination. His disciplined approach to life inspired others to strive for excellence and push beyond their limits.

He was also a paragon of trustworthiness. His reliability and dependability earned him the trust of his family, friends, and community. He was a rock-solid presence in times of need, and his willingness to lend a helping hand was unwavering.

Throughout his life, he demonstrated remarkable greatness. He was a true leader, a visionary, and a force for good in his community. His legacy continues to inspire and motivate others to strive for greatness.

He died as the oldest man in Ibeamala family, Nkporo, and the oldest man in Ndi-Uda compound, Amurie Nkporo.

Chief Kalu Ebei, popularly known as Kalu Tipper, is a renowned figure in Nkporo. He is arguably known for discovering the Upon.
Açhala/Ogbo-eja sharp sand pit in Elitiama Nkporo, as wella. being the first person to start supplying sharp sand to the eight communities in Nkporo. This significant contribution to the community made him a trusted and dedicated source for the supply of sharp sand. Unfavorable business and service delivery conditions, such as the Nkporo bad roads, did not deter him from his service to Nde Nkporo. During rainy periods, he waded through the murky and muddy paths to make supplies of sharp sand to Nde.

There were no reported cases of misappropriation of funds or dishonesty in his dealings with villagers, both within and outside the community. His reputation for trustworthiness earned him the respect and loyalty of many people who rely on him for their construction needs. He would be especially remembered for opening up the Ugwu-Agbala sand pit. which is an essential resource for the village, providing a steady supply of high-quality sharp sand crucial for various construction projects in Nkporo. Kalu Tipper's role in tapping this resource and making it accessible to the community has profoundly impacted its development. His dedication to the servos of Nde-Nkporo has not gone unnoticed and will never, for it will continue to be an integral part of the post-settlement narrative of the Nkporo people.
