Maazi Iwo Ujah Ogba
Maazi Iwo Ujah Ogba was born in the year 1947 to the family of late Chief Ujah Ogba in Elughu Nkporo Ancient Kingdom in Ohafia LGA of Abia State Nigeria
At the age of 22 he lived his with cousin Late Chief Ariba Anya Oko to learn how to trade. Mr Iwo being a man who had business inclination by his nature began his own business after he had acquire much knowledge of this business from his mentor in Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
WESTERN EDUCATION: During his time the importance of western education was still at an infancy stage as many families were unwilling to send their children to school. In 1970, after the Nigeria-Biafra Civil war. Mr Iwo joined his father in the village to do farming. Being a man of consistence he owned his own farming business a short while . He then moved to Aba for daily pasture where he started a successful business from there he was able to build a house of his own in Aba. He once chaired Elughu Community Development Union (ECDU) Nkporo. During his administration he bought a land upon which hall for Nde Elughu was built, he was later appointed as the chairman for Nkporo Development Union, and he equally started building a hall for Nde Nkporo during his administration at Aja road by Ohanku. He received an unwavering support for this. Maazi Iwo was a man of social laurel which earned him a high mantle of developmental strides during his lifetime because of this astute in business and societal development.
BUSINESS: He worked for late Chief Dike Udensi Ifegwu (Dubic International Ltd) who took him to be his right hand man. Maazi Iwo was one of Dubic Brewery Distributor and in tissue factory. He was one of the council of Ndi Eze in Elughu Nkporo he hails from Eziukwu and was a public figure as far as development is concerned in Elughu and Nkporo at large.
